Antique Mahogany Brass Bound Trunk. Extremely useful antique trunk/box which could be used anywhere in the house. Great condition and very clean inside. Not surprising as these were used as containers for linen when sailing abroad. Circa 1900. A box such as this makes a very good coffee table (all the magazines stowed away) but also looks good at the bottom of the bed for storage or even a toy box as being hardwood, it is quite robust, although not sure if the users would appreciate such a lovely piece!
