William Comyns Silver Frame. Edwardian silver photograph frame with reeded and ribbon decoration. William Comyns & Sons is a very celebrated silver maker who started manufacturing in the 19th century in the Soho district of London. This frame is marked London 1906 and has nice line mouldings with leaf and cross decoration to each side. The hallmark is clearly to be seen. The original back is dark red velvet.
