Antique Child’s High Chair. This Victorian childs chair was obviously made to match a set of dining chairs. The chair is a miniature version of a classic dining chair probably made for the same person who commissioned the set of “grown up” chairs. The seat is upholstered in brown leather with studs and the chair has nicely turned legs. The base on which it stands is the equivalent of a dining chair seat, making a very stable chair for a child. The arms are scrolled and the back is a gentle balloon shape. Circa 1890.
