The fall-front opens to reveal a very charming fitted interior, with an arrangement of six pigeon hole compartments with a shaped frieze at the top of each hole, eight separate small drawers with delicate drop brass handles and a hidden well with covering slide and two sliding lopers to support the hinged tooled brown leather topped fall.

The drawers have lovely Queen-Anne style brass handles and original iron locks.

This is a classic early 18th century desk with great storage facilities and offering wonderful patination.  The condition is excellent antique condition, having general signs of use consistent with age.
