Once again Goodwood House is running and hosting this exciting motoring event that appeals to the whole family.
The Festival is motor racing's equivalent of Ascot or Wimbledon: an extravaganza of sound and colour that has been described as 'the garden party of the Gods'
Being so close to Petworth many visitors to the Goodwood Festival of Speed pass throught Petworth on their way to and from the event.
The Petworth Park Antiques Fair took place during 6 to 8 May in the wonderful venue of Petworth Park.
Considered a great success by visitors and exhibitors alike we all hope the event will be repeated next year.
Members of PAADA exhitied and manned a stand to represent many of Petworth's reputable antique dealers.
This Spring is full of some great events. And the one that caught our attention this time is the Plantsman's Paradisal garden event happening on the 18th of April right here in Petworth in the idyllic stable courtyard at Petworth House.
Enjoy high level debate, discussion and entertainment in the hands of a range of authors, writers and wordsmiths over this weekend of insight at Petworth.
Whilst one of our national treasures, Michael Palin, will be joining us at Midhurst, the other events will be at the Leconfield Hall and St Mary’s Church in Petworth.
Petworth House is one of the major locations in Mike Leigh’s new film Mr. Turner starring Timothy Spall. The film is on general release on 31st October and Petworth has enjoyed being part of such a high profile film.

Over the past three centuries, the Duke's of Richmond have been fascinated by natural history. This year, the Summer Exhibition will reveal a unique collection of paintings and stories in the State Apartments of Goodwood House.
With the Goodwood Festival of Speed being the largest of the GoodWood events and so close to Petworth and with just over two weeks to go the news and updates are coming thick and fast. The 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place from Thursday 26 June to Sunday 29 June and promises to be packed with action and excitement, as the planet’s most glamorous racing machinery and famous drivers gather together in the beautiful surroundings of Goodwood Park.
We may not wait until twelth night as we have so much lovely new stock to put into Tudor Rose Antiques.
Antique Tables, Desks, Chairs, Silver and more just keep coming in so to mke way we start to take down all the swags, angels, lights and tree for another year. Already one window is newly dressed with a fabulous 19th century Swedish sofa and tomorrow we start on the other window.
The Festival of Speed is the largest motoring garden party in the world – a unique summer weekend that brings together an impossibly heady mix of cars, stars and motor sport ‘royalty’ to create the largest car culture event in the world. Held in the immaculate grounds of Goodwood House, this annual Hillclimb event is a true celebration of motor sport and all things automotive.
The Petworth Park Antiques & Fine Art Fair is held by The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited. This brand new event is in the grounds of Petworth House, the magnificent National Trust property in West Sussex (which inspired such great British artists as JMW Turner and J Constable and recently featured in Mike Leigh’s film Mr Turner) to be held from Friday 8 until Sunday 10 May 2015 and supported by Smiths Gore and Upperton Vineyards. The Antiques & Fine Art Fair will be held in a marquee in the 700 acre deer park, which surrounds the late 17th century Grade 1 listed mansion and borders the Sussex town of Petworth.
